Fire Route Application Form
To apply for designation of a Fire Access Route as required by Parking By-Law 2005-188 applicants are required to submit:
- An application form completed in full accompanied by the required processing fee of $145 + HST (Fee By-law 2008-122) made payable to the Town of Markham.
- A graphic representation/schematic drawing of the site plan reflecting the access route driveway(s) designed and constructed as fire route.
Submit application form, drawings and processing fee by mail to:
Markham Fire & Emergency Services 101 Town Centre Blvd. Markham, ON L3R 9W3
A copy of the designated fire route plan will be returned to the owner of the property along with reference list of sign suppliers and detailed installation guidelines.
A final site inspection of the access route construction and fire route signage installation by Fire Prevention staff is required before sign-off and enforcement can begin.
