BARBEQUE RECALL FOR POTENTIAL RISK

Health Canada in July 2009 issued a product recall on "Blue Ember Gas Grills" by Fiesta Barbeques so that the public are aware of the potential risk and the corrective action.

REFRIGERATORS RECALLED DUE TO FIRE HAZARD

The Office of the Fire Marshal is notifying the public that on March 10, 2009, Maytag Corporation announced a voluntary recall of various refrigerator models.  An electrical failure in the relay, which is the component that turns on the refrigerator's compressor, can cause overheating and pose a seriour fire hazard.
