Black History Month - Community Awards

The Markham African Caribbean Association (MACA) is seeking nominations for its annual Community Appreciation Awards to celebrate the many achievements and contributions of Black Canadians.

Nominees must meet the following criteria:

• of African/Caribbean heritage
  
  
• contributed to our community through their field of expertise in a way that brings honour to Markham and recognizable beyond our community borders.

Award recipients will receive a Certificate of Appreciation at a special reception at the Markham Civic Centre on Monday, February 22, 2010 at 11:30 a.m.
