Throughout the year community groups, businesses and civic organizations work to create an amazing array of activities for residents and visitors alike. Every event enhances and highlights the rich culture found here in Markham.

If you are holding a special event on Town property, you are required to complete a Special Event Application at least 60 days prior to your event. Forms are also available from all recreation facilities or the Markham Civic Centre.

  Event Organizers to complete this application prior to hosting an organized activity involving the use of, or having impact on public property or facilities, or the temporary use of private property that varies from its current land use or requires approval from the Town of Markham.
