Waitlist Process |
The Town of Markham is introducing an Automated Waitlist Callback System for Recreation and Culture Services.
How It Works:
- If a space becomes available in a PROGRAM you have been waitlisted for, an Automated Callback Phone System will be contacting you indicating that there is an opening for client name, with program name and start date.
- The Automated Callback Phone System will provide you with option of accepting or declining the space available.
- PRESS 1 - Accept space in program, you will be automatically transferred to the FastTrack System, the automated registration phone system. Once successfully registered, you will receive a confirmation number and prompted to make a credit card payment immediately. Failure to make a payment prior to hanging up, will result in losing the reserved space and your confirmation number will become void.
- The system will not ask you for your Client Barcode and Account PIN number.
Or
- PRESS 2 - Decline the space, you will be removed from the waitlist
Or
- If you are not home to receive a call in person, a message will be left indicating that a space has become available in a PROGRAM you are waitlisted for and you are to call the Contact Centre before 3pm the next business day to accept or decline the spot. If you do not call the Contact Centre prior to 3pm the next business day, your name will be removed from the waitlist.
