Appliances such as fridges, stoves, washers, dryers and dishwashers are collected once a month by appointment only. To recycle your old appliances please call 905-415-7535 to book and pay for a collection appointment ($10.00/each appliance).

Great Refrigerator Roundup

If your fridge or freezer is over 15 years old, between 10 and 27 cubic feet, and still in working condition? You may be eligible to apply for free collection through PowerStream and the Ontario Power Authority's Great Refrigerator Roundup Program. 

Metal Items such as bicycles, BBQ's (propane tanks removed), lawnmowers, metal bed frames, are recyclable. Please call 905-415-7535 to arrange for free pick-up. Alternately, you may bring your metal items to your local Recycling Depot during hours of operation.

Helpful Tips

Please remember that all items set out for collection must be at the curb before 7:00 am. For safety reasons, please remove all fridge and freezer doors from your appliance before placing at the curb for collection.
