| Maintenance |
Water Quality Assurance - Water samples taken from various points for lab testing.
|
Adequate Supply Assurance - The water distribution system is pressure tested and monitored to assure adequate supply to residents and adequate pressure for firefighting purposes.

Repair and Maintenance - Unscheduled repair and preventative maintenance of the sanitary sewer and water distribution systems.
|
Utility Locates - Mark and identify location of sanitary sewers and watermains for construction purposes.

Corrosion Protection - Cathodic protection of iron water mains to reduce watermain breaks and prolong service life.

Water Efficiency Strategy (W.E.S.) - Promoting "wise use" of water to reduce wasteful usage and encouraging use of water saving devices. Reducing mainline losses and providing adequate supply through system management.

Meter Conversions - Replacement of water meters to improve reading and billing efficiency and reduce operating and maintenance cost.

Sewer Inspections - Sanitary sewer lines and laterals are inspected with remote cameras to find out their conditions.

Infrastructure Renewal, Repair and Maintenance - Upgrading and rehabilitation of existing sanitary sewer and watermain systems to assure optimum service delivery and minimize interruption of services in a cost effective manner.
