Construction of Highway 7 Sanitary Sewer (Phase 2)  Main Street Unionville to Village Parkway began on March 1, 2011 and to be completed by fall, 2011.

Markham Centre Civic Mall Enterprise VIVA Station
The first VIVA Bus Rapid Transit Station, located at Warden Avenue and Enterprise Blvd. opened on March 6, 2011. The construction of the first VIVA Station began in the Fall 2010, consisting of a steel frame with reflective tinted glass panels. The station has energy efficient lighting, wheelchair accessibility, temperature and motion activated heaters, a full wind enclosure with motion activated entry, arrival/departure screens, scheduling information/ticket purchases and full time security surveillance, with intercom emergency assistance on the platform.
