Municipal Elections

The Clerk's Department is responsible for the coordination and management of the Municipal Elections. In accordance with the Municipal Elections Act, every four years the Town Clerk as Returning Officer conducts elections for the offices of:

  • Mayor
  • Regional Councillors
  • Councillors
  • York Region District School Board Trustees
  • York Catholic District School Board Trustees
  • Conseil scolaire de district du Centre-Sud-Ouest Trustee
  • Conseil Scolaire de district catholique Centre-Sud Trustee
