Career Planning and Assessment Services
COSTI’s Career Planning and Assessment Services assist clients to develop and follow through with a realistic employment service plan. Through an in-depth assessment process, Employment Consultants work with clients to develop a plan which considers current skill sets and experience, additional training needs and other employment supports that will facilitate successful employment. Through our Career Planning and Assessment Services, clients may also access skills training supports and other grant programs.

Throughout its years of providing service, Job Skills-Employment & Business Programs & Supports (operating as Job Skills) has established a strong community presence and continuously works to strengthen its relationships with Employment Service providers, social service agencies, the business community, educational institutions, municipalities and all levels of government. These relationships make it possible to assist clients to reach their employment goals, achieve economic self-reliance and participate in community life.
Job Skills’ Programs and Services are provided at no cost to unemployed individuals and are funded by the Government of Canada as well as the provincial and municipal governments and the United Way of York Region. Funds are also generated through special initiatives.
