Through our Click with Markham campaign, we asked residents, local businesses, and other interested parties to share their thoughts on Markham’s future direction. Six strategic priorities were identified through this campaign and we have since developed a number of action plans to support those priorities.

A community sustainability plan, the Green Print, will guide our efforts around implementing the specific action plans for each strategic priority. This process will help us meet the demands of a growing community in an economically, socially and environmentally sustainable way. And, we need your help.

Throughout 2009, residents, businesses and stakeholders will hear more about the specific action plans and the opportunities for community involvement in the process. We invite you to read more about these action plans and to learn more about how to get involved.
