The City of Markham has the authority to issue lottery licences to eligible organizations in the community. The municipality is also responsible for ensuring enforcement of the licensing policies and compliance with the terms and conditions of the licences that are issued.

The By-law Enforcement & Licensing Division issues lottery licences in accordance with Provincial Regulations.

Lotteries include:

• Bingo - up to $5,500.00 prize board
• Raffles - Prize board of $50,000.00 and under
• Break Open Tickets
