Be sure to bring the whole family to Aaniin because there are so many activities to try from playing in the indoor playground, to sports, to art, to 3D printing. Check out the schedules below for the full listing of activities and times.

Registered Programs

Aaniin will be home to a number of unique programs including cricket, mermaid swims, build-it programs, aquatic rock climbing adventure, women’s only sport, a variety of cooking programs, entrepreneurial programs, STEM/STEAM classes, podcasting workshops, and story times.

Got Dance? We’ve got more dance than you can shake a stick at. Indian classical dance, ballet, jazz, hip hop, bollywood, and line dancing is just the start. Check out the winter recreation guide for all the dance programs at Aaniin.

Community Hub: Free Workshops by Community Organizations

The Community Hub at Aaniin is a space used by community organizations to connect with residents and provide free workshops. There are a wide range of workshop topics which include health, wellness, employment, seniors, and family services. The organizations are from all over York Region and have come together under one roof at Aaniin.

Youth Hub! Open at Aaniin Community Centre

The Youth Hub is a great place for teens (11 18 years old) to hang out with friends on our oversized couches and beanbag chairs in the lounge, surf the internet, or join in games and workshops.
Games include: PS4, bubble hockey, foosball and table tennis!

Hours: Monday to Friday from 4 6 pm
