Markham Museum is undergoing some construction to improve its 25 acre site! Please be aware not all buildings/galleries may be accessible during this time. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
Please note: The Museum is closed New Year's Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Simcoe Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day.

25 Acre Site
Markham Museum has 25 acres to explore, and over 30 heritage buildings to discover. Take a guided tour of the site with one of our tour guides at your leisure.
Hop into your outdoor gear, and get a new perspective of the Museum! We have snowshoes that will fit all ages. It's a great way to experience the Museum in the winter time. Weather permitting.
Take a spin on our handheld GPS, or your Smartphone, and learn about how Markham Museum works to be sustainable in our community. Geocaching is a great way to learn way-finding skills and have fun at the same time.
