Our Ticket Exchange Policy

Please exchange your tickets no later than 3 business days (72 hours) prior to the performance.

If the ticket price for the new show is higher, the difference between the regular ticket price and the new ticket needs to be paid at the time of the exchange.

If the ticket price for the new show is lower, no refund of the difference is permitted.

Unfortunately exchanges are not permitted on Group Tickets.

All tickets are subject to availability and may be limited due to the popularity of the show(s).

The original tickets must be returned to the Flato Markham Theatre Box Office in order to process the exchange.

Tickets for Events

Tickets for events listed on this website are purchased and issued subject to the policies, rules and regulations of the Flato Markham Theatre.

Flato Markham Theatre reserves the right to refund ticket price and refuse admission.

No refunds will be made, with the exception of an outright cancellation of an event.

No guarantee is made for the presentations of special events.

Any event announced may be rescheduled or cancelled with notice and another program substituted.

Ticket Handling & Online Services

In addition to our regular ticket handling charges, a $2.00 per ticket online service fee will be applied to any online orders placed at www.markhamtheatre.ca

Shipping Charges

For your convenience Flato Markham Theatre offers patrons the option to have tickets mailed for a $ 5.00 per order fee or ticket orders may be picked up during regular box office hours and/or 1 1/2 hours prior to the scheduled performance.

Wheelchair Accessibility

Flato Markham Theatre is wheelchair accessible.

Wheelchair lift for accessibility from the main lobby level to backstage.

Wheelchair seating is only available on the Orchestra Level.

Kindly inform the Box Office when you place your order.

Hearing Assistance

To assist our hearing impaired patrons, the Theatre is equipped with a limited number of headsets, available free of charge. Inquire at the Box Office prior to the performance.

Ear Plugs

For those with sensitive ears, ear plugs are available free of charge from the House Manager or your Usher.

Other Considerations

Flato Markham Theatre is a smoke-free facility.

Babies-in-arms are not permitted in the Theatre. Check with the Theatre Box Office for any special Children's performances in which the management or rental client has made an exception to the babies-in-arms rule. Please note that due to fire regulations all theatre patrons regardless of age must purchase a ticket to any event held at the Flato Markham Theatre.

Out of courtesy to all our patrons, we suggest: Turn off all cellular phones, pagers and watch alarms before the performance and due to fragrance allergies, please remember -less is more, none is best.

While we strive to inform our artists of the likes, and dislikes of our audiences, sometimes the operation of amplified sound for shows is not in the Theatre's control.

Collection of Personal Information

Personal Information is collected by the Markham Theatre to issue theatre tickets, administer raffles, draws, and other awareness campaigns. Personal Information is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, 2001, and will be used by the Markham Theatre for the reasons noted above, and to make individuals aware of ongoing Theatre activities. Questions about the collection of Personal Information should be directed to the General Manager, Markham Theatre at 905-415-7546.
