Registered Aquatics Programs

Lifesaving Society Swim Programs (454k/21p)
Program swimming schedule for pre-school, children, teen, adult, and H4O

Aquatics Session Dates (77k/1p)
Start Date, Parent Date and End Dates to all swimming programs.  NOTE:  It also provides you with any cancellation dates to a specific pool.

Aquafit Programs (146/2p)
Program dates and times for aqua stretch, aquafit deep and shallow, diaper fit, older adult aquafit, water pilates and water yoga.

Aquatics Leadership Guide (249k/4p)
Lifeguarding skills, leadership for candidates and skills included rescue techniques, teaching techniques and safety supervision.

BOAT Courses (not currently offered)
The Lifesaving Society's Boat Operator Accredited Training program is accredited by Canadian Coast Guard. The B.O.A.T. course teaches all the safe boating knowledge - the 'must knows' - required to earn the Pleasure Craft Operator card.  Highly recommended for youth and for adults with little or no boating experience or training. Please contact your local pool for information on these courses.

Recreational Swim Fees

Below is a chart of the current prices as of September 1, 2012. All fees include HST.
 

Tickets are available individually or in quantities of 10. Tickets may be used at any City of Markham pool. A family is defined as adults, plus children 15 years of age and under (maximum 6 people, up to 2 adults pr family.

ID may be requested to purchase or use senior admission.

Admission Policy

• Children age 6 and under maximum 2 children per caregiver. Caregiver must be in the water and within arms reach.
  
• Children age 7 to 9: can swim alone provided they can swim 2 widths of the pool. For non-swimmers (those unable to pass the facility swim test) the ratio of non-swimmers to caregivers may be increased to a maximum of 6 bathers to one caregiver if PFD’s are worn by all non-swimmers in their charge.
  
• Children age 10 and over can swim alone.
  
• A caregiver is a person 15 years of age or older; a Senior is a person 65 years of age or older (ID may be requested).
  
• A family is defined as adults, plus children 15 years of age and under. (maximum 6 people, up to 2 adults per family)
