Collection Schedule

Waste Collection Schedules

Markham is divided into 8 collection areas. We pick up recycling and organics every week and garbage every other week over a 4 day period (Tuesday – Friday). There is no collection services on Mondays except where noted in the 2011-2012 Collection Schedule. Please follow your collection schedule closely.

Alternately, hard copy collection schedules are available for pick up at the Markham Community Recycling Depots or the Markham Civic Centre (Contact Centre - Main Floor) during hours of operation.
