Markham Museum
One of Ontario's best community museums
Established in 1971 as a co-operative effort between the City, Markham Historical Society and the Markham Lions Club, Markham Museum has been collecting and interpreting the area’s history for over 50 years. The 25-acre site combines both historic structures and modern exhibit buildings to offer visitors a broad range of interactive activities to explore Markham’s past.
