‘Spring Munchkins’ was designed to provide preschoolers with a memorable one-of-a-kind experience.  Each week, the 3 hour program will be filled with exciting crafts, activities, games and songs.  Educational and exciting themes will be experienced in a creative and caring environment designed to engage and captivate.  Each session is different!

Museum Mini Mornings


Looking for something new to do with your active preschooler? Join us at the Museum for fun, educational and interactive activities specifically designed for you and your little one. Classes are led by our experienced program instructors and incorporate the Museum's unique features including our exhibitions and historic buildings. Each 4 week session has a new theme and activities, so you can sign up for multiple sessions! Cost for 1 child and 1 adult, additional children $40.00 each (max 3 children per adult).

Museum - Tinker Tots


Circuits, gears, marble runs, oh my! Introduce your youngster to the wonders of STEAM based learning and engineering through classes led by experienced program instructors. Learn about basic circuitry, chain reactions, and physics, all geared towards a level your little one will understand. Cost for 1 child and 1 adult, additional adults or children $40.00 each (max of 3 children per adult registered).

Join us as we explore the wonderful world of clay in our Pottery Studio!  This program provides an opportunity for those big and small to play with clay, to each make a special treasure, and best of all spend time together while being creative.  We will explore methods of hand building such as sculpting, surface decoration, slab building and coiling.  Together with our professional artist instructors participants will also get to glaze their work before being fired.  Cost for 1 child and 1 adult, additional adults or children $75.00 each to a max of 2 additional participants. Includes all supplies.

    Museum Pottery - Clay Creations 

    Join us as we explore the wonderful world of clay in our Pottery Studio! Beginners will learn all the steps from beginning to end of how pottery pieces are created. Participants will explore methods of hand building such as sculpting, surface decoration, slab building and coiling. Together with our professional artist instructors participants will also get to glaze their work before being fired and have an opportunity to try basic techniques on the potter’s wheel. Includes all supplies and firing costs.

    Museum Pottery - Pinchpot Imagin-Animals

    Kids’ imaginations are the wonderfully wild and take them places you would never guess.  Kids will learn how to create their very own pinchpot imaginary animal or garden creature.  They will learn how to make a clay pinchpot animal, design and decorate with colour, texture and pattern.  Horns, beaks, fangs, tails, claws, whatever their imaginations fancy. Get the kids ready to create some clay awesomeness!   Includes all supplies and firing for one animal or alien.

    Museum Pottery – Garden Fairy Houses

    Let your child build their own unique Fairy house for their special fairy friends.  Your child will learn how to design and build your magical Fairy House out of clay.  These little abodes are filled with your child’s imagination, with their fairy’s personality, character and taste.  Kids will build, decorate, and paint their Fairy house because every home is better with a fairy nearby and every fairy needs its own special home.  Includes all supplies and firing for one Fairy house.

    Museum Pottery - Space Aliens and Clay Monsters

    Ready, set, IMAGINE! Get your minds go wild with all the awesome ideas for building your very own space alien or monster.  One eye or maybe four, three legs or five?  Anything goes, horns, fangs, overbites, underbites, claws and tails. Kids will learn how to sculpt, attach, use slabs and decorate their clay to create their own creature in our fun and exciting pottery studio! Includes all supplies and firing for one monster or alien.
