Tickets can be purchased online and at the Museum starting Friday, September 1st at 10:00 AM. Pre-purchased tickets cost $10.00 per person. The price will increase to $14.00 per person on September 23rd, so be sure to buy in advance.

How do I get my tickets?

Your tickets will arrive by email.  Please look for an email from "Markham Museum - Zeffy <contact@zeffy.com>"

In the email there will be a button to download your e-tickets as a PDF with a separate page and QR code for each ticket purchased.

Please do not scan the QR code yourself.

Please print or save this file to your phone, and present to our staff when entering our event.

How can I pay for my tickets?

If you are comfortable purchasing online, you can visit this link and pay using your credit or debit card (via Stripe).  If you prefer to purchase in person using the same payment methods, you may visit the Museum during our hours of operation; Wed-Fri, 12-5 and Sat-Sun 10-5. Please note that we are not able to take cash.

Does my child need to buy a ticket?

If your child is 24 months or under, they can attend for free and do not need a ticket.

I'm a Markham Museum member, do I have to buy tickets?

If you have a Markham Museum Membership, admission to Applefest is included in your membership and pre-purchasing tickets is not necessary. Be prepared to present your membership to staff on the day of the event in order to gain admission.

I have a green free admission pass, do I have to buy a ticket?

No, you do not. Please fill out the information on the back of the pass and provide it to staff when you arrive.

I have an Access2 card, does my caregiver need to buy a ticket?

You will need to purchase a ticket, but you or your caregiver can show your Access2 card to gain admission.

I'm a member or employee of another organization with reciprocal benefits (ASTC, AO, OMA, CMA, etc.), do I need to buy a ticket?

Yes, you will need to purchase a ticket.  The reciprocal agreement does not include our special events.

Why will the price increase on Sept 23?

We want all attendees to have a great experience at our events, and this includes not needing to wait in a long line just to get in.  In an effort to try to remove the bottleneck at our front door, we want to encourage all attendees to pre-purchase tickets in advance.  If you have any trouble buying your tickets, we are here to help.  Please email us at museuminfo@markham.ca or call 905-305-5970 and we will do our best to help you.

What if it rains?

The event will run, rain or shine.
