Museum Pottery - Wheel Throwing 

 

Learn how to throw on the pottery wheel! Techniques include centering, creating different forms such as bowls, plates, vases and mugs. We also explore sculptural elements, handle making, surface decoration and glazing techniques. No experience required. Includes all supplies and firing.

Ages: 16+

Museum Pottery: Hand Building Open Studio Time

 

This 2-hour program is for students who have intermediate to advanced pottery skills in hand-building ONLY.  There will be no formal instruction given during the Open Studio time.   However, there will be staff on hand for technical help if needed.  Includes one bag (10 kg.) of clay and firing costs, additional $25 for each additional bag of clay/firing costs.

Museum Pottery - “Get Centered” Wheel Throwing

 

‘Get centered’ this season in our Pottery Studio.  Learn an incredible new skill in a relaxed environment. Our professional instructor teaches all the basics to enable you to throw your own shapes on the pottery wheel and make pinch-pots.  Includes all supplies and firing.
