Museum Pottery: Pottery Playtime!

Let your kids open up their creative minds. This 4-week program is a perfect introduction to 3D arts and crafts.  Children will be learning step-by-step process of working with clay, exploring hand-building techniques, surface decoration.  With their unlimited imagination, kids will create treasures to last a lifetime.  Your kids can explore the wonderful world of clay in our Pottery Studio! Kids will also get to glaze their work before being fired.   Includes all supplies and firing costs.

Summer Programs

Museum Pottery: Clay Creations 

Join us as we explore the wonderful world of clay in our Pottery Studio!  Beginners will learn all the steps from beginning to end of how pottery pieces are created. Participants will explore methods of hand building such as sculpting, surface decoration, slab building and coiling. Together with our professional artist instructors, participants will also get to glaze their work before being fired and have an opportunity to try basic techniques on the potter’s wheel. Includes all supplies and firing costs.

Ages: 7 - 12 years

Museum Pottery: Summer Pinch Pot Animal Planter

Let the sun shine!  What better way to celebrate summer than to make your very own Summer Animal planter?  Create your very own animal planter that will last forever.  During this workshop we will create and paint a pinch pot of your favourite pet, real or imagined.  Kids will design, create and decorate their floral beauties in our fun and exciting pottery studio!  Includes all supplies and firing.
