Artificial Intelligence Camp (Aaniin, Angus Glen, Thornhill
Community and Unionville Library) Age 9-12
Campers will learn about the fascinating field of artificial intelligence and machine learning and have an opportunity to construct real world solutions with AI robots. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of programming, discuss the benefits and challenges of using AI while participating in fun hands-on activities.
3D Printing Jr. Camp (Cornell, Thornhill Community, Unionville
Library) Age 6-8
This camp will provide a fun and dynamic experience that will allow children to learn how to model and print in 3D. Specifically geared toward younger children, this camp will teach campers to work in groups and learn basic principles of 3D modelling, design and printing.
Architects vs Engineers Camp (Thornhill Community, Angus Glen
and Unionville Library) Age 9-12
Campers will learn about the difference between an architect and an engineer and which sides of the brain they each use more! Campers will receive an opportunity to work on design projects that incorporate multiple aspects of architecture and engineering, such as electrical, mechanical, environmental, and aerospace. Participants will also have to think creatively, mathematically and theoretically in order to approach design projects from different perspectives. This camp will offer opportunities for critical thinking, design rational, problem solving, team building and fostering a growth mindset.
