Crafts 2019 (Drop-in)

MPL’s weekly craft programs encourages creativity, self esteem and extends a child’s fine motor skills. Crafts also help develop concepts such as colour or numbers and allows kids to explore ideas or concepts and then express it by making something to keep, entertain others with or simply look at for visual pleasure.

*Create Nights - The library supports families being creative together! Join us for a range of activities that inspire creative thinking and problem solving from colouring and crafts to STEAM and Lego building challenges.

Games 2019 (Drop-in)

Games help all ages develop and strengthen social, motor, language, and reasoning skills. They can also help improve attention span and focus and reinforce curriculum related information. Customers of all ages are welcomed to spend time together exploring games. MPL provides multiple formats and basic introduction to all games.

Movies 2019 (Drop-in)

Movies are just another way to absorb a great story. MPL offers free screenings of new and popular movies. Showcasing an important and popular part of MPL’s collection. Movies are a popular activity that both Children and Adults can enjoy. Showings include popular family-oriented titles, blockbusters and other movies of interest that often give customers a chance to view movies that have a waiting queue for check-out.
