ePLAN Steps to Success: Submit

Pre Application

Applicants submit a request for a building permit application using Markham’s online ePLAN portal. Please refer to the City of Markham’s Guide to Building Permits for a description of the various permit types, and the required documents and drawings for each class of permit. If you are unsure of what building permit type is most appropriate for your project, please contact the Building Counter at 905.475.4870 to confirm before submitting your application.

A pre-application fee is due at the time of the online request. This is a non-refundable fee, which is credited towards the building permit fees assessed at a later stage.
