Type I applications require a Grading and Servicing Plan (one plan) prepared by a Professional Engineer of Ontario or Ontario Land Surveyor.
Types II and III applications require a Grading Plan prepared by a Professional Engineer of Ontario or Ontario Land Surveyor.
Type IV applications require a Layout Plan prepared by a qualified professional (i.e. Architect, Professional Engineer of Ontario or Ontario Land Surveryor). No hand sketches permitted.
Type V applications require a Servicing Plan prepared by a Professional Engineer or Ontario Land Surveyor.
Complete the RIGS Requirement Checklist applicable to the Application Type that you are submitting and include the completed checklist in your submission. This is not required for Type IV applications.
For Types I and V applications, utility and servicing locate records must be submitted with your application. For instruction on how to obtain the locate records, please refer to Items 39 & 40 of the RIGS Requirement Checklist.
For Type I applications, if existing sanitary and/or storm service connections are to be re-used, CCTV inspection video must be submitted with your application.
