The City of Markham is here to help you through the planning and development process. Find information on how to submit your application, participate in the planning process and learn more about ongoing planning studies.
Significant changes to the planning and process have been enacted through the Province of Ontario’s Bill 23, and Bill 109. Markham Staff are working with departments, agencies, and stakeholders, to implement any required changes to the development process. Staff are also working to provide up to date information to applicants and stakeholders, and to provide updates to the City’s website with respect to these changes. If you have any questions about the changes to the development process resulting from Bill 23, or Bill 109, please email your inquiry to DSC@markham.ca, and your question will be directed to the appropriate Staff member for a response.
