Deliberately dumping household garbage, masks, gloves or wipes in parks, public spaces, parking lots and private property or along the roadside is illegal.
Bring them home! Single-use masks, gloves and wipes go in your clear bag garbage and never in the blue box or down the toilet.

: No person shall dump or deposit on any grounds or parks within the City any household waste or waste material. A first conviction can carry a fine up to $50,000.00 and could be higher upon any subsequent convictions.
Garbage and non-recyclable items go in your garbage.
Recyclables go in your recycle bin.
Compostable materials and pet waste go in your green bin.
Improper disposal of single-use masks, gloves and wipes presents a direct health and safety risk to you, the community and the workers who have to pick them up. Put them in the garbage.
They are also harmful to the environment, as well as pets and wildlife and put our friends and family at risk.
Sidewalks are for people, not vehicles. Park in a way that does not obstruct the sidewalk or street.
Between November 15 and April 15, and only when snow clearing operations are not in effect, vehicles may only be parked on the odd numbered side of city streets, unless posted signs indicate otherwise.
During the winter season, all parking on both sides of all City streets is prohibited during snow clearing operations.
Existing parking permits and overnight exemptions held by residents are not valid during snow clearing operations.
Vehicles parked on a city street during snow clearing operations will be ticketed and/or towed.

To help keep unwanted critters away, do not leave any food outside and do not place your garbage out early.
Put outdoor garbage bags in metal garbage cans with securely fitted lids to stop rodents from feeding on contents.
Clean around the house and keep your property clutter-free. Less clutter means fewer places for rodents to hide.
If you have a compost heap, don’t include organic food waste, as this will attract rodents.
Cut your grass, including the boulevard, so it is under six inches long to discourage rodents and other pests.
Maintain grass, weeds and bushes. Overgrowth may affect visibility for drivers or block the sidewalk.
Leave grass clippings on your lawn. Grass clippings are free fertilizer to help your lawn grow greener.
Fences must be kept in good repair and at a permitted height.
