Green bin and blue box sales and exchanges will resume March 8 at Markham Depot location ONLY
Starting March 22, green bin and blue box sales and exchanges will be available at all Depot locations
Green bins and blue boxes are available for purchase at local home stores such as Home Depot, Rona, Walmart and Home Hardware. Note; we can only exchange Markham-branded bins that are broken.
Arrive 30-45 minutes prior to closing, expect longer wait times
Consider holding onto your items longer to limit your visits
Upon Arrival
Please follow all instructional signage
Visitors are required to enter a vehicle lineup. (May close more than 30 minutes before depot closing).
You must remain in your vehicle until directed by attendants
Visitors will be required to enter and exit through specific doors
Household Hazardous Waste & Electronics Depot - drop off hazardous waste and electronics. For more information, visit the Household Hazardous Waste Depot website.
Community Environmental Centres (CEC) – drop off blue box recyclables, household garbage and other material. For more information, visit Elgin Mills CEC
