Walking is the most common physical activity in Canada. There are many benefits to walking — improve sleep, reduce stress, reduce health risks, explore your communities - just to name a few. According to the Canadian 24-hour Movement & Activity Guideline, it is recommended that children and youth should get 60 minutes of physical activity each day. Adults and seniors should accumulate at least 150 minutes per week, in bouts of 10 minutes or more.
