August 1 - 31, 2019: Markham Cycles Community Hub    

Markham Cycles is Markham and York Region's first cycling community hub. Located at Milliken Mills Community Centre, Markham Cycles offers FREE events and workshops to anyone who is interested in cycling. Some of the programs include weekly bike repair clinic, community bike rides, and workshops on route planning, bike maintenance and more!

August 24, 2019: Children's Festival

Drop-by the City's Active Transportation booth at the Markham-Milliken Children's Festival on August 24. Learn about some of the walking and cycling projects happening in Markham. Markham Cycles will be there as well to provide basic bike tune-ups.


September 22, 2019: Markham Cycling Day

Now at its 12th year, Markham Cycling Day is York Region's largest public cycling event. The event features 3 different cycling routes (10km, 30km, 60km), as well as children bicycle races for ages 3 to 10 at Markham Civic Centre. A complimentary lunch is provided to all riders who have worked up an appetite. There are giveaways, prizes and live entertainment, and more!
