The 27,810-square-foot, wheelchair accessible, indoor tennis facility is located next to the Angus Glen Community Centre and Library on Major Mackenzie Drive East between Warden Avenue and Kennedy Road.
Open year round since July 2011, this facility features four indoor hard courts with reception area, a fully accessible 4,200-square-foot member’s lounge with viewing gallery, kitchenette, change rooms and washrooms.
For those interested in improving their skills, the Tennis Centre offers introductory group lessons plus private and semi-private lessons. Summer and March Break tennis camp programs are also available.
On Friday, December 11, 2020, the Government of Ontario announced that the City of Markham will move to the GREY- LOCKDOWN Zone in the Province’s Keeping Ontario Safe and Open COVID-19 response framework, starting Monday, December 14 at 12:01 AM. During the lockdown, the Angus Glen Tennis Centre and community recreation facilities will be closed.
Indoor Tennis Player’s Card Memberships at Angus Glen Tennis Centre purchased prior to December 14, 2020 are suspended until further notice and will be extended based on the number of days closed.
