The 27,810-square-foot, wheelchair accessible, indoor tennis facility is located next to the Angus Glen Community Centre and Library on Major Mackenzie Drive East between Warden Avenue and Kennedy Road.
Open year round since July 2011, this facility features four indoor hard courts with reception area, a fully accessible 4,200-square-foot member’s lounge with viewing gallery, kitchenette, change rooms and washrooms.
For those interested in improving their skills, the Tennis Centre offers introductory group lessons plus private and semi-private lessons. Summer and March Break tennis camp programs are also available.
Access to the facility will be permitted only to those who hold Player’s Cards and have courts booked or participants in registered programs with their parent or guardian. Court bookings and play will be limited to those who hold Player’s Cards. No guests permitted.

Starting September 22, all visitors to our recreational facilities who are age 12 years and older will be required to be fully vaccinated. Individuals are considered fully vaccinated after receiving the full series of a COVID-19 vaccine or combination of COVID-19 vaccines approved by the World Health Organization (e.g. two doses of a two-dose vaccine series, or one dose of a single-dose vaccine series, plus 14 days from last shot).
Access to the upstairs lounge is restricted
Players must leave the facility immediately following the court booking to prevent additional groups in the lobby

Court booking fees:
Non-prime Time Court Fee: $17.48/ hour
Prime Time Court Fee: $24.96/Hour
Player’s Card holders may only book/play a maximum of 2 bookings or up to 4 hours per week to ensure that all players have an opportunity to access the facility. Any court booking that exceeds this limit will be subject to 25% fee of the booking. Staff have the right to cancel bookings exceeding the 2 hour maximum per day.
Subletting or transferring of court bookings is not permitted
Private lessons are not permitted unless offered through the City of Markham
Cancellations require 24 notice
There are no refunds for cancellations within 24 hours of a court booking
