Public health guidelines and protocols will be in place, including:
Limited number of participants
Enhanced cleaning and sanitization procedures
A mask or face covering is required at all times, except when swimming
Participants will be guided to the hand washing and/or hand sanitizing station pre and post screening/assessment and prior to participating in the activity
Follow all safety and directional signage
Indoor change rooms, lockers and showers are not available
Personal belongings can be placed in the program room at designated area for each individual
Participants must keep a safe distance from others (2 metres or 6 feet) at all times
Following the program, equipment will be sanitized and high-touch surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected
In the event first aid is required to be performed by staff, personal protective equipment and specialized devices will be used at the first available opportunity
In some instances, close contact first aid treatment may be required and staff will use their best judgement to assist the individual and maintain physical distancing
Staff will greet each participant and conduct a screening questionnaire prior to entry:
Do you feel sick or have any of these symptoms?
Fever or cough
Stuffy, congested, runny, squeaky or whistling nose
Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
Muscle ache, chills or headache
Fatigue or hoarse voice
Sore throat or difficulty swallowing
Lost sense of smell or taste
Falling down more than usual
Have I had close contact with someone who has, or is suspected of having, COVID-19?
Have I travelled outside of Canada recently in the past 14 days?
Have I had close contact with someone who has travelled internationally and has a fever and/ or cough and/or difficulty breathing?
If you answer YES to any of the above questions do not enter, return home immediately, and contact your doctor or public health .
