Participants must attend each in-person and virtual session to complete the certification.
Virtual components of the course are live streamed via Zoom. Participants require a microphone and video camera to actively participate.
Completion of COVID-19 online self-assessment is required before entering any City facility. Registered participant must show confirmation of completed assessment upon arrival.
Once the screening process is completed and the program has started the doors will be locked. Unfortunately, due to current COVID-19 safety guidelines we are unable to accommodate late comers as access to programs must be strictly controlled.
Washrooms are available (it is recommended that participants limit the use of the washrooms while at the pool)
Participants must be dressed, as much as possible, for their activity (i.e., swimming attire)
Change rooms are not available, except for swimmers exiting the pool
Bring a reusable bottle filled with water
In the event of thunderstorms, lighting or poor weather conditions that compromise the ability to safely supervise the swim, the program will be cancelled and participants will be notified by email and a make-up class will be arranged,
