A Seat at the Table - Shadows of Racism, Voices Unheard

The City of Markham, in collaboration with York Region School District Board and ALPHA Education, is proud to support A Seat at the Table – Shadows of Racism, Voices Unheard, a student-led art exhibition on display at the Markham Civic Centre. The exhibit features powerful visual and performance works by elementary and secondary students from across York Region. Through themes of identity, resistance, and belonging, students share lived experiences and reflect on equity, justice, and inclusion in Canada.
