ScaryFest Presented by The Friends of Markham Museum

Join us as we transform our 25-acre site into a ghoulishly grand Halloween town – a family event perfect for kids 10 and under! Come in costume, experience the site and many family friendly activities as well as toys and candy! Entrance is by timed ticket, please pick the entrance time slot that works best for you and guarantee your spot today! Children under 24 months are admitted free and do not require tickets. Dates: October 25th and 26th Times: 11 AM to 6 PM Join us for a spook-tacular event full of excitement, scares and treats! ScaryFest presented by The Friends of Markham Museum is the place to be for a kid-friendly Halloween experience.

• Live Show: Visit our Transportation Hall to experience live shows from our resident Mad Scientist! Shows run on the hour from 12 PM to 5 PM. 
• Family Fun: Hop on our scenic Don Valley North Trolley trackless train, presented by Don Valley North Toyota as it makes its rounds around our spooky site.
• Memory Makers: Stop by our Bandstand and take photos of our ScaryFest Halloween photo booth with your little ones in their amazing costumes!
• Immersive Historical Experience: Witness the blacksmith shop come to life as our skilled blacksmith wields his hammer to make items right in front of your eyes!
• Hands-On Exhibition Spaces: Explore engaging exhibitions like "A Picture of Markham - The Art of Pat Wheeler," the reimagined "Markham Community Makers", and our brand new “Everyday Superheroes” exhibition.
• Interactive Activities: Bring your young ones to over 10+ interactive activities based in our historical buildings
