Forty Years of Heritage, Harvest, and Hands-on Fun: AppleFest Returns to Markham Museum
MARKHAM, ON – September 18, 2025 – The City of Markham and Markham Museum invite residents and visitors this fall to celebrate a milestone in one of the community’s most cherished traditions. On Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 10 AM to 5 PM, the Museum’s 25-acre site will come alive with the sights, sounds, and flavours of AppleFest, presented by Don Valley North Toyota, as it marks 40 years of community celebration.
“Forty years and still going strong, AppleFest remains one of our community’s most cherished annual events, drawing thousands of visitors for a fun-filled day of historical demonstrations, live performances, delicious food, and family-friendly activities,” said Mayor Frank Scarpitti. “As we commemorate this significant milestone at the Markham Museum, we can immerse ourselves in our agricultural heritage and deepen our gratitude for all those who have contributed to the vibrant spirit of Markham.”
