PHASE 3

A Community Information Meeting will be held at the Thornhill Community Centre to present the West Thornhill Phase 3A flood control implementation. Road closures will be required to support the construction of storm sewer upgrades and water quality improvement works. Notices will be provided to residents throughout the 2020-2021 construction period in advance of service interruptions. 

Field investigations include:

• topographic surveys,
• subsurface utility locates and marking, and
• digging asphalt coreholes and drilling of boreholes to confirm soil conditions in future construction areas.
   

These field investigations will begin in June 2017 and continue through early September 2018.

Construction of storm and sanitary sewer upgrades and associated waterman replacement is expected to begin in the Phase 3 area in 2020.
