PHASE 4

The City of Markham is continuing field investigations to support storm sewer design in the Phase Four improvement area in West Thornhill. Phase Four investigations will occur within the area shown on the map below.

Field investigations include:

• topographic surveys,
• subsurface utility locates and marking, and
• digging asphalt coreholes and drilling of boreholes to confirm soil conditions in future construction areas.

These field investigations will begin in July 2018 and continue through early December 2019.

Construction of storm and sanitary sewer upgrades is expected to begin in the Phase 4 area in 2021.
