Welcome to The Heintzman House - one of Markham’s most treasured historic landmarks

Originally built as an adobe brick cottage in the early 19th century, the home was expanded in 1817 by Colonel George Crookshank. In the 1930s, Charles T. Heintzman, grandson of the founder of Toronto’s Heintzman Piano Company, purchased the property and transformed it into the elegant residence you see today.

53nd Annual Heintzman House Artisan Craft Show

November 8th & 9th, 2025

10 AM to 5 PM

Step into the charm of this stunning heritage home, transformed for one weekend only into a vibrant marketplace filled with creativity and craftsmanship.

Explore all three floors, where over 40 talented artisans will be showcasing a curated selection of handmade treasures. From award-winning jams and honey, beautiful ceramics, and indulgent cookies, to unique jewelry, holiday and home décor, cozy knits, whimsical children’s items, wood crafted pieces, artisan soaps, and all-natural body care - there’s truly something for everyone. 

New surprises await in 2025, making this year’s event more inspiring than ever!  Don't forget to stop by the Craft Show Café for a tasty treat while you shop and soak in the community spirit.
