Cornell Community Centre Parking Garage Rehabilitation Project

Due to the extreme cold temperatures this winter, there is a delay with this project. Please be advised that this work is now anticipated to be completed by March 31, 2026, which is right after spring programs and swim lessons begin. 

Thank you for your continued patience as we complete essential maintenance at the Cornell Community Centre parking garage. Markham Recreation undertakes these projects to ensure our community continues to access well-maintained amenities.

Parking Information

• Level P1 will remain open at all times  
• Level P3 may have a rare closure
• Level P2 will be closed but parking spaces will be made available as the work progresses
• Follow all traffic signs and signals. The timing and locations of the stop signs and lights continue to be monitored to ensure a smooth flow of traffic.
• Plan ahead, expect longer wait times when entering or leaving the garage. 

Important Accessibility Note: Elevator access on P2 & P3 will be intermittently unavailable. If you require elevator access, please park on P1.
