February 14 to 28, 2022

Drop off your new or gently used baseball bats and gloves and soccer equipment until February 28, 2022. All donations to support growing the game of youth baseball and soccer in Eabametoong First Nation and supporting physical activity.
In 2017, the City of Markham and Eabametoong First Nation formed a community partnership. As part of this partnership, Eabametoong First Nation has identified health and wellness, physical literacy and youth engagement as priority legacy projects for their community.
This is the fourth Sports Equipment Drive that the City of Markham has run to assist youth sport development in Eabametoong First Nation.
About Eabametoong First Nation:
- Ojibway First Nation
- Accessible only by airplane, water, or by ice roads in the winter
- Location: Kenora District, Ontario (300km northeast of Thunder Bay)
- Population: 1,500 people
