Charity the Cow & City of Markham Official Statement

The City of Markham’s Public Art Policy allows for public art works to be installed within the public realm where deemed appropriate by City Council. The “Charity” statue was gifted to the City of Markham by Romandale Farms Ltd. and was designed and created by Canadian artist, Ron Baird. The donation was reviewed by the Public Art Advisory Committee and Council voted to approve the donation of the Charity statue on June 14, 2016.
