MARKHAM, ON – December 5, 2018 – Members of the media are invited to attend the Inaugural Meeting for the City of Markham's 2018-2022 Council term.

The vision and priorities for Markham over the next four years will be outlined. Markham is Canada's most diverse community and is in Canada's second largest innovation hub. During his address, Mayor Frank Scarpitti will speak to the power of connection as it touches our lives through community, through technology and into the future.

This event will take place at the Flato Markham Theatre on Friday, December 7 starting at 7:00 p.m. 

Members of the media are asked to RSVP to media@markham.ca by Friday, December 7 at 12:00 p.m. to reserve their place.
