Night at the Museum presented by Don Valley North Toyota, Don Valley North Lexus and Genesis Markham returns to Markham Museum grounds this summer! On four different summer nights, bring your lawn chairs and watch a family friendly movie under the stars. These events are FREE but registration is required.

- Where is the event located?
The event will take place at Markham Museum, located at 9350 Markham Road.
- When do the movies start?
We open our gates to the grounds roughly 45 mins before the movie starting. This allows everyone enough time to grab some popcorn, find a seat and enjoy some of our backyard games. Our July movies open the gates at 8:45 PM and our August movies at 8:15 PM.
- What happens if there is inclement weather?
In case of inclement weather, please check your email and our socials @markhammuseum on Facebook and Instagram for cancellations and postponed dates.
- Is there parking?
Yes. Free parking is available onsite and in the surrounding areas.
- Can I use my Markham Museum Membership to gain entry?
No. A ticket is required to attend this free community event. Markham Museum Members receive early access to tickets.
- Can I use Canoo to access this event?
No. A ticket is required to attend this free community event.
- Can I use my ASTC, Attractions Ontario, ROAM memberships or Free Admission Pass to gain entry?
No. A ticket is required to attend this free community event.
- What do I do if I can’t make it?
If you’re no longer able to attend, please cancel your tickets to allow others the opportunity to attend. Please email us at museuminfo@markham.ca if you have any difficulties in doing so.
- Are walk-ins available?
Yes. Walk-ins may be admitted after our ticketed guests have been checked in, space permitting.
- Are dogs welcome?
Yes. We ask all owners or handlers to please have your dog(s) on a leash at all times, please pick up after them, and be mindful of other dogs and wild animals we may have on site.
Leash and Behavior Policy: All dogs must remain on a leash and under the direct control of their owner or handler at all times while attending the event. Owners and handlers assume full responsibility for their dog(s)' behaviour, waste, and temperament. Markham Museum, its staff, sponsors, and affiliated entities reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to require the immediate removal of any dog and its owner/handler from the event if the dog's behaviour is deemed aggressive, disruptive, unsafe, or otherwise causes inconvenience, distress, or harm to other participants, animals, staff, or property.
Notice: Wild animals have been observed on the property. We advise all owners to exercise caution while on site and follow the directions and guidance provided by staff to help ensure everyone's safety.
