Confirm your eligibility
You can vote if you are:
- at least 18 years old (by October 26, 2026);
- a Canadian citizen;
- A Markham resident, landowner or tenant (or the spouse of one);
- Registered to vote.

Receive your Voter Information Letter
Once you are registered, you will receive a Voter Information Letter (VIL) with a personalized online Voting PIN. Do not share your PIN with anyone.
