With programs in sports, arts, STEM, and leadership, there is something for every interest and age group. Led by highly trained staff, our camps help participants build skills, make new friends, and create lasting memories.

Calling all nature lovers! Discover the great outdoors by exploring ECO Camp at Chimo which is situated right beside Milne Park and the Rouge River. Activities will include: campfire building, learning basic orienteering, shelter building, hiking, singing camp songs, archery, canoeing, high ropes course, low ropes course and our recently refurbished outdoor rock climbing wall!

Learn to swim while participating in a fun camp environment that consists of games and activities in the water, on land, indoors and outdoors. Daily swimming lessons are for Levels 1 to 6.

This camp features music, learning, and play! There is at least 1 hour of piano time per day, consisting of structured lessons and practice; the rest of the program will consist of a variety of traditional camp games and activities, including circle time, crafts, sports and active games! Piano lessons are customized to the level of each camper - no experience is required. Please bring a nut-free lunch and two snacks, a refillable water bottle, and wear comfortable clothes and running shoes.

- Baseball Camp: Ages 7 to 12
This camp focuses on building the fundamentals of baseball, from hitting, throwing and catching to fielding. All participants must have a baseball glove and wear a hat and appropriate athletic shoes. The program is designed to promote team play and foster the love of the sport. Children will participate in other camp related activities including games, activities, special guests, sports, swimming and more. Campers will be bussed to swimming.

Campers will work with certified Ontario Tennis Association coaches to improve their ground strokes, volleys, serve, game play and knowledge of game rules. Campers will take part in a friendly match every day.

- Science Camp: Ages 7 to 10
Explore science through fun, hands-on experiments and weekly themes. Campers participate in a variety of science activities, as well as outdoor play, sports and games. Recreational swim will be included in some locations.

- Jr Sports Camp: Ages 4 to 6
Campers develop the basic skills needed to play a variety of sports. Each day focuses on developing their skills through drills, practice and play. This camp will also offer cooperative games, arts and crafts, outdoor play plus special guests. No recreational swimming will be held at this camp.

- Computers & Business Camp: Ages 6 to 12
Campers will explore the use of computers for one hour each day and learn how to use a variety of Microsoft software. Campers will also learn and explore the exciting world of business and economics, by using “fun” money to buy, sell and trade in their own make believe business camp world. Also included are games, theme days, special guests and swimming.

Each day, campers develop their soccer skills, including ball control, passing and shooting. Also included are games, tournaments, theme days, and swimming. For safety reasons shin pads will be mandatory for this camp.

Each day, campers develop their stick handling skills, including ball control, passing and shooting. Also included are games, tournaments, theme days. Swimming is available.
Required Equipment: CSA approved Hockey Helmet with cage and Hockey Gloves. Please bring a hockey stick if you have one at home.
Note: Equipment will be checked at sign-in on the first day of camp. Without a CSA approved helmet with cage and hockey gloves, campers will not be able to participate in camp ball hockey activities.

- Leaders in Training Camp: Ages 15 to 18
Learn to swim while participating in a fun camp environment that consists of games and activities in the water, on land, indoors and outdoors. The Leader in Training - Express Camp is designed to be a crash course for those who are interested in becoming future camp counsellors and program instructors. In this camp, participants will be trained and certified in the Principles of Healthy Child Development (HIGH FIVE) and Standard First Aid with CPR C (certifications are a requirement of employment for camps and programs).
This course will include 1 week of instructional learning and a 40 hour/ 1 week of placement in one of the City of Markham's camps where participants will gain the hands-on experience needed to lead a program or camp. Participants will be ready to apply for a camp counsellor or program instructor position at the end of this course. 100% participation is required.
Participants must be 15 years old to participate in this camp and 16 years old (15 years for assistants) to be eligible to apply for an entry level part-time position. Students may be eligible to receive their Community Service Hours, however check with your schools guidance office to confirm.

Join us for a fun filled week of circus arts! Campers learn juggling, balance skills, hooping, clowning, basic acrobatics and creative movement in a supportive and high energy environment.
